Gabriele Brossard B.A. B.Ed Visual Artist

Brossard Gallery is a private gallery and an extension of Gabriele's studio. She is a very experimental, contemporary, prolific artist who works in oil, acrylic, resin, photography, gold and silver leaf. The subject of her work can reach from figures and faces to nature, seasons and landscapes, architecture to abstraction and concepts such as "time". She is a keen observer of the society of which she part of and her work reflects her surroundings, be it urban, rural or people. She uses high contrast colours yet once in a while plays around with a classy monochromatic pallet. Gabriele studied at University of Toronto with Sasha Rogers, David Buller and Colin Campbell. She also teaches Visual Art for the Toronto District School Board helping many young people with their portfolios to go on to architecture and various Art programs.
